Do I need to preheat Air Whirl before I begin cooking?
No, Air Whirl does not require preheating. Just place your food on the grill rack in your pan and cover with Air Whirl. Then, press the start button.
How is the Air Whirl powered?
It is powered by 3 AA batteries.
What are the dimensions of Air Whirl?
It is 12.6 inch diameter x 4.5 inch height.
What size frying pan can I use?
A 10 inch up to 12 inch diameter pan (maximum), with a minimum depth of 1.75 inches.
Why do I need to line my pan with aluminium foil?
The aluminium foil prevents fallen food particles and grease from burning.
Is Air Whirl dishwasher safe?
Only the glass lid and grill rack are dishwasher safe. Please refer to instruction manual for detailed cleaning instructions.
Do I need to add oil to my frying pan?
No, oil is not required.
Do I need to add oil to the grill rack?
We recommend lightly coating the grill rack with a cooking oil to prevent food from sticking.
My food is not fully cooked after 12-15 minutes. Why?
While most food should be cooked within 12-15 minutes, some may require longer. Allow a little more time but ensure the thermometer doesn't enter the red zone. Turn the hob temperature down if necessary.
